When Someone Asks You, “Why Horses?”

Today, this would be my answer. (This is a pic I took of Daisy’s mare Barbie this morning.)  If you have a blog, what would your picture answer be? If you decide to answer, let us know so we can go see.  Come to think of it, if you don’t have a blog, send your picture answer in and I’ll put it up!

Gorgeous photo! And I “third” the Sarah Andrews recommendation… I am addicted to her sites and am sort of stalking her until I get some of those prints on my wall! Actually, I think you were the one that turned me on to her, so thanks. =)

      Watch out! Hudson is next…again…
I think I’m going to have to cave and carry the camera with me all the time. The other night the sunset light was hitting him just right. He was lit up from behind: the effect was as if he was radiating light. Beautiful. I was so mad I left my camera at home. But I want to learn to take it off auto. (oh the shame)

Um, my camera is amazing. Her being a knock out helps. 😉 You know, I don’t think I’ve ever seen her stand still that long!

My poor friends are all going to be subjected to (attempted) artsy photos of their horses…

Readers, if you want to see some REAL horse photography by someone who knows exactly what they are doing, click on the Rock and Race Horses link on the right, or go to Sara K. Andrews flickr stream.
